COLLECTIBLE CARD GAMES

This Section is Devoted to all the Collectible Card Games that feature Moon Knight. Unlike the trading card market, comic related card games weren't particularly popular or prevalent until relatively recently. In the last few years there has been a large increase in comic card games, leading to quite a few featuring Moon Knight. It is important to note that several of the cards listed below are part of non-exlcusively card based games, such as Heroclix or Boardgames.

Overpower Card Game

This is the first ever Moon Knight Card in a trading card game. It was part of the Marvel Overpower card game produced by Fleer starting in 1995. This Moon Knight card was introduced in 1997 as part of the Monumental Set. This was a Strength Power Card.

VS System

These Moon Knight cards were part of the VS System card game first produced by Upper Deck Entertainment from 2004-2009. Moon Knight first appeared in 2005 as part of the Marvel Knights set. This card was also given as a promotion packed in with Wizard Magazine #161 (March 2005). 2 More cards were produced later on in 2007 as part of the Marvel Team Up Set (Spider-Friends). In 2015 Upper Deck launched a new revised version of VS system following its 2PCG format. There currently are 2 Moon Knight cards from this set, both released in 2015.

Legendary Deck Building Game

These Moon Knight cards were part of the Legendary Deck Building game produced by Upper Deck Entertainment starting in 2012. Moon Knight cards first appeared in 2014. The back images are a reversed order, and read left to right in order to match the left to right order of the front images.

Dicemasters

Dicemasters is a collectible game produced by Wiz Kids that features both character cards as well as themed dice. Moon Knight has Appeared in multiple sets. The first was the Civil War Set, released in 2016. His card numbers were 51, 87, and 119. This set came with 4 black themed crescent dice. The second set was Infinity Gauntlet, released in 2019. His card numbers were 38, 78, and 118. This set came with 4 white themed crescent dice.

Marvel United Board Game

In 2020, CMON and Spinmaster launched a kickstarter campaign to fund a Marvel themed Boardgame called Marvel United. The kickstarter was not only successful, but reached extensive stretch goals, which allowed them to create bonus character pieces and cards. The Boardgame received a standard retail release, but the bonus characters were limited to Kickstarter backers only. Moon Knight was unlocked when the funding surpassed $280,000. The Moon Knight unlock features a Moon Knight player piece, and 12 cards. There are no plans to release Moon Knight or any of the other exclusive characters outside of Kickstarter backers. The best way to get ahold of these is on secondary market sites like eBay. The cards are standard size. The figure is around 2 inches tall, and made of a light blue plastic.

Munchkin

Munchkin is a unique Dedicated Deck game developed by Steve Jackson Games first introduced in 2001, and eventually grew to include variants featuring licensed properties such as Marvel. Moon Knight was featured on a single card in the Marvel set.
